Fee Guidelines
Mr Toft offers
surgery to those patients covered by health insurance and also to self-funding
patients.
PATIENTS COVERED BY HEALTH INSURANCE
Mr Toft is
registered with all the major insurance companies (AXA-PPP, BUPA, CIGNA,
CS Healthcare, Medisure, Norwich Union, Standard Life, WPA, and others)
and is available to treat insured patients. Mr Toft's consultation fees,
surgical fees and hospital fees are normally covered by most major insurance
companies. He will provide the CCSD insurance procedure codes in the written
estimate of costs. These codes allow the patient to check with the insurance
company that they are covered for a particular procedure. Patients are
advised to contact their insurer to check that they have authorisation
before proceeding to surgery. In some cases there may be a shortfall
between the cost of surgery and the value of remuneration by the insurance
companies; this shortfall is payable by the patient.

SELF-FUNDING
PATIENTS
Mr Toft regularly
treats self-funding patients mainly for cosmetic surgery. In addition,
he is also treats patients who wish to have surgery privately but are
not insured. After your first consultation you will be given a written
estimate of the costs of your surgery, which include the surgical fee,
the anaesthetist's fee, and the hospital fee. Further pre-operative visits
prior to surgery are free. The surgical fee includes follow-up appointments
after surgery for removal of sutures and clinical review.
